is a pianist who has won the the first prize at the 'New York Debut’ series competition. She has since performed all over Japan and the US, performing extensively as a Classical Concert pianist and as an arranger /composer /singer of more Jazz and Contemporary music.

PROFILE

Sachi began playing the piano at the age of two, having learnt from her mother, a piano teacher.
At the age of ten, she debut as a soloist, performing Mozart's 21st piano concerto.

At the age of twelve, Sachi was a featured artist on the NHK television "Playing Chopin" in which she participated in a master class with world-renowned French pianist Cyprian Katsaris who called her "one out of five hundred thousand." the program "Playing Chopin" was a big success and she gained illustrious reviews and long lasting fans as she was featured as the youngest among the model students.

Sachi moved to NYC at the age of 17, entering the Manhattan School of Music under the tutorage of Dr. Sara Davis Buechner, her life-long former teacher at her highest esteem. Born into a classical music loving family as background, having had the mesmerizing encounter to Jazz and more Contemporary music in the best city possible, she had fell straight into it and devoted. The experience, later becomes the trigger for her to treat the Classical music, her core in the deeper understanding and the affection towards.

Winner of the first prize at the 'New York Debut’ series competition, performed the New York debut recital at Weill recital hall at Carnegie hall in NYC.

She has since performed US and Japan worked extensively as a classical pianist and as a chamber musician, also as a singer of more contemporary music. Sachi has developed “full-playing-laying-vocal” a unique Performance style - singing whilst playing a rich piano accompaniment. Sachi is also an accomplished arranger and a skilled composer. She has soft spot for 80's AOR music.

Sachi is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan and holds a degree in piano performance from Manhattan School of Music in NYC.
